When I moved to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina many years ago, I knew that it was a very special place--it's a place where people are free to flourish in their individuality . . . A place where magic happens!!

My life experience has been as varied as the places I have lived . . .Hawaii, Vermont, Connecticut, Florida, California, New Mexico and Western North Carolina. I have worked for lawyers, restaurants, accountants, disabled folks, and families with young children. For many years I was a foster parent in Vermont where I also raised my daughters, Kerri, Kelly and Nancy. I was also self-employed for many years as the owner/manager of a long-haul trucking business and garage, and for several years I was the owner of a boutique in Asheville called Native Expressions. All of my life experience has led to the creation of Southern Life Realty.

For years I dreamed of living in a log cabin in the mountains. That dream came true a few years back when I bought my first log cabin close to the Appalachian Trail and Wolf Laurel Resort. That cabin is now a vacation rental called TheTree House. I also enjoy remodeling and redecorating my own home and I love to share my experiences. There is nothing better than visiting with family and friends on the front porch of my log cabin looking out at the glorious mountains that we live in. This is a great place for my animals too.

My decision to become a real estate broker came from another dream--what could be better than to match people with their idea of the perfect property??? I enjoy being with people and helping them make their dreams come true.  I am the owner and creator of Southern Life Realty and I look forward to working with folks wanting to buy or sell homes, land, farms and commercial real estate.
